The Crockpot (Chicken or Beef) Chili

Need:

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts OR 1 pound beef
15oz can of tomato sauce
15oz can of diced tomatoes
15oz can of black beans for chicken OR white beans for beef
(1 cup of fire roasted corn if making chicken)
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 TBSP paprika
1 TBSP chili powder
1 TBSP ground cumin
1.5 TSP ground oregano
1/4 TSP crushed red pepper flakes

Optional if making freezer bag: 1 gallon-sized freezer bag

Do:

Cook in crockpot on low for 8 hours (shred chicken and return to crockpot for 20 minutes). IF MAKING A FREEZER BAG make sure to let it thaw in the refrigerator the night before cooking.
