The Root Beer (Birch Beer) Pulled Pork

Need:

1 boneless pork shoulder butt roast (3 to 4 pounds)
1 can (12oz) root or birch beer
1 bottle (18oz) barbecue sauce


Do:

Place roast in slow cooker
Add root or birch beer
Cook covered on low 8-10 hours
Take roast out of slow cooker and empty juices
Shred meat
Return meat into slow cooker
Stir in barbecue sauce
Cook covered about 30 minutes
Serve on rolls
